Cette &eacute;tude r&eacute;alis&eacute;e aupr&egrave;s de 100 000 femmes affili&eacute;es &agrave; la MGEN, r&eacute;v&egrave;le que plus on pratique une activit&eacute; physique, plus on r&eacute;duit le risque de cancer du sein, pour peu que ce soit une activit&eacute; soutenue.


Cette id&eacute;e n'est pas nouvelle, mais il restait &agrave; d&eacute;finir l'intensit&eacute;, la fr&eacute;quence et le type de d&eacute;pense physique.   Pour cela, un questionnaire d&eacute;taill&eacute; &eacute;tait remis &agrave; chaque femme (nombre d'heures de m&eacute;nage par semaine, escaliers gravis &agrave; pied, activit&eacute;s physiques de loisir, marches...pratiqu&eacute;s de fa&ccedil;on soutenue ou mod&eacute;r&eacute;e).


Il rel&egrave;ve de cette &eacute;tude que les femmes d&eacute;clarant avoir 5 heures ou plus d'activit&eacute;s physique soutenue par semaine ont 38 % de risques en moins de d&eacute;velopper un cancer du sein par rapport aux femmes ne pratiquant aucun sport.   Point int&eacute;ressant : les populations &agrave; risques (ant&eacute;c&eacute;dants familiaux, prise de THS, femmes n'ayant pas eu d'enfants ou en surpoids) pratiquant &eacute;galement un sport de mani&egrave;re soutenue, voient leurs risques diminuer de 38 % &eacute;galement.
